The Fiat Linea and Bravo will be replaced by a new family of Turkish-built compacts. The unnamed compact sedan will debut next year followed by hatchback and wagon variants in 2016.
Compacts
The Bravo will be replaced by a family of compact models comprising a hatchback, sedan and station wagon built by the automaker's Tofas joint venture in Turkey. The compact range will be sold Europewide. The sedan variant in the family will replace the Linea that is currently sold only in central and eastern Europe and Turkey. European sales of the Bravo were just 10,000 units last year. Fiat had been without a compact wagon since the Stilo Multiwagon was discontinued in 2008.
Muł testowyAccording to the well-informed Italian source Quattroruote, this mysterious and awkwardly looking Linea is a new C-segment Fiat in the making. The magazine wrote in its latest edition of this week that the camouflage is a hint towards the future production location of a sedan, hatchback and stationwagon. This brings an end to the rumor that Fiat might launch a European version of the Chinese Viaggio (and Dodge Dart) or Ottimo. Fiat indeed announced a compact C-segment car for the EMEA-region in their production plan earlier this year.
